The Blueair 501 SmokeStop Purifier uses a particle filter with active carbon. The SmokeStop filter is recommended for use in rooms where heavy gaseous pollutants such as cigarette and cigar smoke or other VOC's are present. The 501 Smoke Unit effectively purifies air in rooms as large as 620 sq. ft. Using patented 2-Stage HEPASilent™ technology and the 3-Stage Progressive Filter structure, it captures 99.97% of the tiniest 0.1 micron particles on Speed One, including allergy-provoking pollen, dust mites, mold spores, and pet dander.

Our efficient SurroundAir™ vent system delivers exceptional air exchange (up to 500 cu. ft. per min.) without annoying drafts.

Value-adding features include a warranty and easy maintenance: simply open the unit's lid, lift out and drop in filters every six months.
