New Edition™ filters and cartridges feature an increase of active surface area, more even filter loading, longer filter life and a reduction in total weight, all resulting in greater airflow and higher particle holding capacity. With these improved filters and cartridges, you get more clean air and save money on replacements. IQAir New Edition™ GC MultiGas Cartridges last up to 3 years and eliminate molecular pollutants like volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which cause odors. The New Edition GC MultiGas Cartridges offer up to 700 more hours of filter life on speed 3. They also destroy dangerous chemicals, like formaldehyde, through oxidation inside a chemically active alumina pellet.
